QUESTIONS OF WORK, LEADERSHIP & DIRECTION
A decision you keep putting off. A role that asks more of you than you want to give. A working life that no longer feels like yours.
Coaching offers space to understand what is happening, consider your options, and decide what to do next. Many understand their patterns well by now and watch them run anyway. The gap between the life you describe and the life you live is where the work starts.
What brings you here?
There may be something here you recognise. You can also bring something that doesn’t fit neatly into a heading.
-
Job loss and professional change
Losing a job, or seeing your role change, can unsettle more than your working day. When work is also what brought you to a new country, questions of identity, belonging and what comes next may become closely connected.
-
Decisions and direction
Staying, leaving, changing direction. We look at the options, the practical constraints and what matters to you—including the parts of a decision that are difficult to admit.
-
Work stress and boundaries
Saying yes when you are already stretched. Taking on work that belongs to someone else. We explore where the pressure comes from, what is within your influence and what needs to be addressed with others.
-
Leadership and working with others
A new team, difficult feedback, or responsibility without clear authority. Connected Leadership focuses on how you make decisions, handle conflict and relate to the people you lead.
-
Finding your place at work
Unspoken expectations, unfamiliar workplace habits, or uncertainty about when to speak up. For internationals working in Denmark, we explore how to find your voice without assuming you have to adapt to everything.
-
Ambition and expectations
Reaching a goal, then immediately raising the bar. Or realising you no longer want what you’ve worked towards. We explore what you want to pursue, what feels expected of you, and what would make the effort worthwhile.
Let’s see if we align.
We can start with a free 15-minute phone call to talk about what brings you and get a feel for working together.
HOW I WORK
Relational process work, applied to work
We start with a question or situation from your working life. I listen, ask questions and share what I notice. We might work through a conversation you’re avoiding, consider a decision, or explore what makes a boundary difficult to set.
My training in systemic coaching, mental training and body-oriented psychotherapy shapes this work. My background in education, literature, art, writing and yoga also informs how I listen—to your words, the images you use and what takes time to express. Alongside conversation, we may notice how you respond physically under pressure. You decide which exercises you want to try.
Together, we agree on a focus and practical steps, then return to what happens when you try them in everyday life.
Coaching or psychotherapy?
A concern about work can belong in either. Coaching focuses on an agreed professional question and the changes you want to make. Psychotherapy may be more appropriate when you want to explore broader emotional or relational difficulties.
We can discuss this in the introductory call and revisit it if your needs change.
